TOOLPALETTES — Tool Palettes
Palettes with blocks ready to insert with their scale, rotation and layer.
- Command:
TOOLPALETTES· Global name:_TOOLPALETTES· Alias:TP - Ribbon: Insert › Content
- Ribbon: View › Palettes
- Ribbon: Manage › Customization
- Menu: Insert
Opens the Tool Palettes window: palettes with blocks ready to insert, each one with its own scale, rotation and layer. Enter the command again to close it.
Usage
- Enter TOOLPALETTES (or TP) or click the button. The first time, one palette is created for each drawing in the installed library, with all its blocks.
- Choose the palette in the tabs at the top.
- Click a tool and specify the insertion point; the scale, rotation and layer are those of the tool.
Specify insertion point or [Scale/Rotate]:
Organizing the palettes
- + (New Palette) creates an empty palette; Rename and Delete Palette act on the visible one.
- To add tools, drag blocks from the Blocks palette (INSERT) or from ADCENTER and drop them on the palette.
- Right-click a tool to change its Scale, Rotation and Layer (empty: the current layer), or to remove it with Delete Tool.
Notes
- The palette can be docked to the left or right of the drawing and set to auto-hide with the buttons in its header (◂ ▸ ◻ 📌); see The user interface.
- If the tool's layer does not exist in the drawing, it is created on insertion.
- Repeat placement and Explode from the Blocks palette do not apply to tools.
- Palettes are saved in
bloques.toml, in the program's settings folder; each tool remembers the file of its block.
