BSAVE — Save Block
Saves the definition of the block being edited.
- Command:
BSAVE· Global name:_BSAVE· Alias:BS
Saves the definition of the block being edited in the Block Editor. Every insert of the block is redrawn with the new contents, including those nested in other blocks and those of a dynamic block.
Usage
- In the Block Editor (BEDIT), enter BSAVE or click the button on the Block Editor tab.
- If the block's attributes have changed and it has inserts, you are asked whether to synchronize them:
The attributes of "…" changed. Synchronize its … references (ATTSYNC)?
The editor stays open; you can keep editing and save again.
Notes
- If the attributes are not synchronized now, it can be done later with ATTSYNC.
- The block cannot contain itself, either directly or through another block: in that case it is not saved.
- New objects in a dynamic block with visibility states are visible in every state.
- Saving the block does not save the file: do that afterwards with QSAVE or SAVEAS.
- Outside the Block Editor, the command only shows a message.
