ATTSYNC — Synchronize Attributes

Updates the attributes of a block's inserts to match its definition.

• Command: ATTSYNC · Global name: _ATTSYNC
• Ribbon: Insert › Attributes
• Menu: Insert

Updates the attributes of every insert of a block from its current definition: after changing a block's attribute definitions (with BEDIT or BLOCK), the existing inserts are brought up to date.

Usage

1. Enter ATTSYNC or click the button.
2. Select an insert of the block or enter its name.

Select a block or type its name:

The number of updated inserts is shown.

Notes

• The attributes are placed again as in the definition: position, height, style and modes.
• Values are kept by tag. A new attribute takes its default value and one that is no longer in the definition disappears from the inserts.
• Inserts in model space and in layouts are updated.
• The change is undone with UNDO.
