BATTMAN — Block Attribute Manager
Changes the order, prompt, default value and modes of a block's attributes.
- Command:
BATTMAN· Global name:_BATTMAN - Ribbon: Insert › Attributes
- Menu: Insert
Opens the Block Attribute Manager: it changes the attribute definitions of a block (their order, prompt, default value and modes) and applies the changes to all its inserts.
Usage
- Enter BATTMAN or click the button. If a block with attributes is selected, it opens with that block; otherwise, with the first one in the drawing.
- Choose another block in Block: if needed. Below it you can see how many inserts it has.
- Change in the table the Prompt, the Default and the Modes: I (Invisible), C (Constant), V (Verify) and P (Preset).
- Click a tag to choose its row and use Move Up, Move Down or Remove.
- Click Synchronize to apply the changes without closing, or OK to apply them and close.
Notes
- When applying, every insert of the block rebuilds its attributes from the definition and keeps the values it had (new attributes take the default value). This is what ATTSYNC does.
- The order of the table is the order in which INSERT asks for the values.
- The tag cannot be changed here. A constant attribute has no prompt.
- The change is undone with UNDO.
