OBJECTSCALE — Object Scale

Adds or deletes annotation scales of annotative objects.

Adds or deletes annotation scales of the selected annotative objects. An annotative object keeps one representation for each scale it supports and is shown with the one of the current annotation scale (CANNOSCALE) or of the viewport; if it does not support that scale, it is shown with its default scale.

Usage

  1. Enter OBJECTSCALE (or OBJSC).
  2. Select the objects and press Enter. Objects that are not annotative are discarded.

The Annotation Object Scale List dialog box opens with the scales the objects support: choose a drawing scale in the list box and click Add, or pick one in the list and click Delete. The changes apply at once; Close finishes. In scripts and with FILEDIA set to 0 it goes on at the command line:

Select annotative objects:
  1. Choose whether to add or delete a scale (Enter: Add).
Enter an option [Add/Delete/?] <Add>:
  1. Enter the scale name as it appears in the drawing's scale list (1:50). When adding, Enter takes the current annotation scale.
Enter named scale to add or [?] <…>:
Enter named scale to delete or [?]:
