SCALELISTEDIT — Scale List
Edits the drawing's list of annotation scales.
- Command:
SCALELISTEDIT· Global name:_SCALELISTEDIT - Ribbon: Annotate › Annotation Scaling
- Menu: Format
Edits the list of annotation scales of the drawing: adds scales, deletes the ones not needed or goes back to the default list. The list is saved in the drawing, as in AutoCAD (ACAD_SCALELIST dictionary).
Usage
- Enter SCALELISTEDIT. The Edit Drawing Scales dialog box opens with the list of scales (name and paper and drawing units): - Add... and Edit...: below the list you type the name and the paper and drawing units of the new scale or of the chosen one; OK saves it. When edited, the scale remains the same object: annotative objects that support it keep it. - Move Up and Move Down: change its place in the list (the order of the scale selectors). - Delete and Reset: like the options below. Each change applies at once and can be undone; Close finishes. At the command line (with -SCALELISTEDIT, in scripts or with FILEDIA set to 0):
- Choose an option (Enter: Add).
Enter option [?/Add/Delete/Reset/Exit] <Add>:
- To add a scale, type its name and its paper:drawing ratio.
Enter name for new scale: Enter scale ratio (paper:drawing):
Options
- ?: lists the scales of the drawing with their paper and drawing units.
- Add (A): adds a scale. The ratio is typed
1:50or1=50. - Delete (D): deletes the scale with the given name. The last scale cannot be deleted.
- Reset (R): after confirmation, replaces the list with the default metric one, that of new drawings: AutoCAD's (1:1 to 1:100 and 2:1 to 100:1) followed by the UNE-EN ISO 5455 standard scales it lacks (1:25, 1:200, 1:250, 1:500, 1:1000, 1:2000, 1:2500, 1:5000, 1:10000, 5:1, 20:1 and 50:1).
- Exit (E): ends the command (Esc also does).
Notes
- -SCALELISTEDIT does the same without the dialog box.
- The scales in the list are the ones that can be chosen as annotation scale (CANNOSCALE, also with the selector on the status bar) and the ones added to annotative objects with OBJECTSCALE.
- LinceCAD does not check whether a scale is in use before deleting it: neither the current annotation scale nor those supported by annotative objects.
- The changes can be undone.
