Current annotation scale of model space: the name of a scale in the drawing's scale list (1:50). Annotative objects are shown with the representation of this scale and new ones are created with it: a 2.5 text at 1:50 measures 125 drawing units.

Notes

• It can also be changed with the scale selector on the status bar. The scale must be in the drawing's list (SCALELISTEDIT); otherwise you are warned:

Scale … is not in the drawing scale list.

• Layout viewports show annotative objects at their own scale, not this one.
• It is saved in the drawing as AutoCAD does (variable dictionary), so it is kept both ways.
