Turns texts into polylines with the shape of their letters, like the TXTEXP tool of the Express Tools. Useful to cut or engrave lettering, or so that a text looks the same on a computer that lacks its font.

Usage

1. Enter TXTEXP.
2. Select the texts and press Enter. If they were already selected, they are converted without asking.

Notes

• Texts (TEXT), multiline texts (MTEXT) and attribute definitions (with their tag) are converted. Other selected objects do not change.
• With TrueType fonts the closed outlines of each letter come out; with SHX fonts, their strokes.
• The polylines keep the layer and properties of the text, and the text is erased.
