BURST — Burst

Explodes blocks keeping attributes as texts with their values.

Explodes blocks like EXPLODE, but visible attributes become texts with their values (EXPLODE turns them into attribute definitions that show the tag). It is the BURST tool of the Express Tools.

Usage

1. Enter BURST.
2. Select the blocks and press Enter. If they were already selected, they are exploded without asking.

• What is on layer 0 or has ByBlock color, linetype or lineweight takes those of the insert, as when exploding in AutoCAD.
• Invisible or empty attributes disappear. Multiline attributes come out as a single-line text.
• One level is exploded: nested blocks stay as blocks. Other selected objects do not change.
