LANDXMLOUT — Export LandXML

Exports the selected surfaces and points to LandXML.

• Command: LANDXMLOUT · Global name: _LANDXMLOUT
• Ribbon: Topography › Terrain data

Exports the selected surfaces and points to LandXML 1.2, to take them to Civil 3D, MDT/TcpMDT, BricsCAD Civil or a field data collector.

Usage

1. Enter LANDXMLOUT or click Export LandXML in the Terrain data panel of the Topography tab.

Select objects:

2. Select the surfaces created with SURFACE, IMPORTDEM or LANDXMLIN, and the points or blocks, and press Enter.

Target LandXML file:

3. Enter the target .xml file.

What is written

• Each selected face mesh, as a TIN surface (Surface, with its Pnts and Faces).
• Each point object, as a CgPoint numbered from 1; each block, with the number and code from its attributes if it has them (as in COORDTABLE).
• The drawing coordinate system (epsgCode), if it has one, and metric units.

Notes

• Coordinates are written in LandXML order (northing, easting, elevation) with four decimals.
• Alignments are not exported for now.
