BVSTATE — Visibility States
Creates, renames, deletes and orders the visibility states of the block.
- Command:
BVSTATE· Global name:_BVSTATE· Alias:BVS
Manages the visibility states of the dynamic block being edited, like AutoCAD BVSTATE. It only works in the Block Editor of a block with a visibility parameter (BVPARAM).
Usage
- In the Block Editor, enter BVSTATE (or BVS). In the Visibility States dialog box, pick a state and click New…, Rename… (the name is typed on the command line), Delete, Move Up or Move Down; Close finishes.
- Save the block with BSAVE.
In scripts, SCRIPT and AutoLISP there is no dialog box: the option and the state are asked.
Enter an option [New/Rename/Delete/Up/Down] <done>:
Notes
- A new state starts with every object of the parameter visible. Choosing what is visible in each state inside the editor (the AutoCAD current state) is not available yet: define them when creating the parameter. The order is the one of the Properties palette list. The dialog box cannot be scripted in the AutoCAD console: it has a unit test.
