BTESTBLOCK — Test Block

Tests the block being edited, without saving it, in a test drawing.

• Command: BTESTBLOCK · Global name: _BTESTBLOCK · Alias: BTEST

Tests the block being edited without saving it, like AutoCAD BTESTBLOCK. It only works in the Block Editor (BEDIT).

Usage

1. In the Block Editor, enter BTESTBLOCK.
2. Another tab opens with a temporary drawing that has a single reference to the block as it is in the editor: try its grips and its Properties palette.
3. Close that tab (without saving) and go back to the editor.

Notes

• In AutoCAD the test happens in a window inside the editor; here it is a tab with a temporary file. The block of the drawing being edited does not change. It cannot be scripted in the AutoCAD console (the Block Editor does not exist there).
