WSSAVE — Save Current As…
Saves the current interface layout as a workspace.
- Command:
WSSAVE· Global name:_WSSAVE - Ribbon: View › Interface
Saves the current interface layout as a named workspace, so you can return to it whenever you need: the ribbon or the Classic workspace, the ribbon state, the command line and the open palettes with their place and size.
Usage
- Arrange the interface the way you want it: open palettes, dock them, minimize the ribbon, float the command line...
- Enter WSSAVE or choose Save Current As… in the menu of the ⚙ gear on the status bar. The Workspaces window opens with the cursor in Name:.
- Type the name and press Enter (or click Save Current As…).
The saved workspace becomes current, and the status bar says so:
Workspace saved: …
Notes
- A workspace with the same name is replaced without asking. With the name of a built-in one (Drafting & Annotation, Classic), that one is overwritten.
- The name cannot be empty, start with
@or contain brackets. - It is saved in
espacios.txt, in the user configuration folder: it applies to every drawing.
