WMTS — WMTS tiles

Inserts WMTS/XYZ tiles (Web Mercator) stitched as an image.

• Command: WMTS · Global name: _WMTS
• Ribbon: Mapping › Map services
• Menu: Mapping

Adds WMTS or XYZ tiles (Web Mercator, like OpenStreetMap) as a live map layer: the tiles covering the view are stitched into an image reprojected to the drawing system and requested again after panning or zooming.

Use

• Type WMTS or click the button: MAPCONNECT opens with the WMTS and XYZ servers. Pick the connection, for WMTS click Connect and check the layer (XYZ has none), and click Load.

Notes

• WMTS via GetTile with the GoogleMapsCompatible set; XYZ with a {z}/{x}/{y} template. Tiles are cached for 7 days. They are managed in ONLINEMAPS.
