VPOINT — Viewpoint

Sets the viewing direction with a vector.

• Command: VPOINT · Global name: _VPOINT · Alias: -VP, VP
• Ribbon: View › 3D Views

Sets the viewing direction with a vector from the target to the viewer, like AutoCAD VPOINT, and zooms to extents.

Usage

1. Enter VPOINT (or -VP).

Specify a view point (x,y,z):

2. Type the vector: 0,0,1 is the plan view, 0,-1,0 the front view and -1,-1,1 the SW isometric.

Notes

• The vector is saved as VIEWDIR; the target moves to the origin.
