LinceCAD PLAN — Plan View
Displays an orthographic view of the XY plane of a UCS.
- Command:
PLAN· Global name:_PLAN - Ribbon: View › Coordinates
- Menu: View
Shows the plan view of a UCS: it rotates the view so that the X axis of that UCS is horizontal on screen and does a zoom extents. With a UCS aligned with a rotated building, the building is shown straight.
Usage
- Enter PLAN or click the button.
- Choose which UCS; Enter, the current one.
Enter an option [Current ucs/Ucs/World] <Current>:
Options
- Current ucs (C): the plan of the current UCS.
- Ucs (U): that of a named UCS, whose name you type next.
Enter name of UCS to restore or [?]:
- World (W): that of the world system: the view is no longer rotated.
Notes
- PLAN does not change the current UCS or move any object: it only rotates the view.
- The rotation is saved in the drawing as in AutoCAD (VIEWTWIST of the current viewport), and AutoCAD opens the drawing with the view rotated the same way.
- With the view rotated, the selection window takes the world box of its two corners.
