TEXTMASK — Mask text

Puts a wipeout behind each text so that it hides what is underneath.

• Command: TEXTMASK · Global name: _TEXTMASK
• Ribbon: Annotate › Text

Puts a wipeout behind each selected text so that it hides what is underneath, like the AutoCAD Express Tools TEXTMASK.

Use

1. Type TEXTMASK.
2. Select the texts and press Enter.

Select text objects to mask or [Offset]:

Options

• Offset: the offset factor, in text heights (0.35 by default): how far the wipeout goes beyond the text box.

Notes

• One wipeout is created per text, on its layer and just behind it in the draw order.
• Only wipeout masks are made; the text and its mask are not grouped.
