TCOUNT — Number texts

Numbers the selected texts.

• Command: TCOUNT · Global name: _TCOUNT
• Ribbon: Annotate › Text

Numbers the selected texts, like the AutoCAD Express Tools TCOUNT.

Use

1. Type TCOUNT.
2. Select the texts and press Enter.

Select objects:

3. Choose the order: by X, by Y (top to bottom) or as selected.

Sort selected objects by [X/Y/Select-order] <Y>:

4. Enter the start number and the increment, separated by a comma.

Specify starting number and increment (Start,increment) <1,1>:

5. Choose where the number goes.

Placement of numbers in text [Overwrite/Prefix/Suffix] <Prefix>:

Options

• Overwrite: the number replaces the text. Prefix: it goes before, with a space. Suffix: after.

Notes

• The find and replace option of Express is not available.
