RENUMBERPOINTS — Renumber points

Numbers the selected survey points from a start number with an increment.

• Command: RENUMBERPOINTS · Global name: _RENUMBERPOINTS · Alias: RENUMPT
• Ribbon: Topography › Points
• Menu: Survey

Changes the number of the selected survey points: numbers them from a start number with an increment.

Usage

1. Enter RENUMBERPOINTS or click Renumber points on the Survey tab.

Select objects:

2. Select the points and press Enter.

Start number <1>:

3. Give the start number. It may have a prefix and leading zeros: E100, P001.

Increment <1>:

4. Give the increment (it may be negative).

Notes

• Points are numbered in the order of their current number (first by prefix, then by digits), which keeps the survey order.
• If any new number already belongs to a point that was not selected, nothing is changed and you are warned.
