LinceCAD PROFILEVIEWUPDATE — Update profile
Redraws a profile view with the current alignment and surfaces.
- Command:
PROFILEVIEWUPDATE· Global name:_PROFILEVIEWUPDATE· Alias:PVUPDATE - Ribbon: Topography › Analysis
Redraws one or more profile views created with PROFILEVIEW, reading the alignment and the surfaces as they are now. Use it after changing the TIN, the design grade or the alignment.
Usage
- Enter PROFILEVIEWUPDATE (ACTUALIZARPERFIL) or click Update profile.
Select objects of the profiles to update:
- Select any object of each profile (a grid line, a data band text…) and press Enter. If objects were already selected, they are updated without asking.
Notes
- All the objects of the profile are erased and drawn again at the same origin, with the same scales and stations, stored in their extended data (XDATA
LINCE_PERFIL). - Manual changes made to the profile objects are lost when updating.
- If the alignment or one of the surfaces was erased, the profile cannot be rebuilt and the reason is reported; if the TIN was created again as a new object, draw the profile again with PROFILEVIEW.
