MLSTYLE — Multiline style
Creates and modifies multiline styles.
- Command:
MLSTYLE· Global name:_MLSTYLE - Ribbon: Home › Draw
- Menu: Format
Creates, modifies and manages the multiline styles used by MLINE. They are stored in the drawing as AutoCAD does (ACAD_MLINESTYLE dictionary), so they survive opening the drawing in AutoCAD and back.
Usage
- Enter MLSTYLE.
- In the list, choose a style and use the buttons: - Set Current: it will be the one of new multilines. - New…: first type the name in New style name; it is created as a copy of the chosen one. - Modify…: opens its elements and caps (see below). On OK, the multilines of the style are rebuilt. - Rename: with the name typed in Rename to. - Delete: Standard, the current one and one used by any multiline cannot be deleted.
- OK closes the dialog.
Modifying a style
- Elements: each line, with its offset from the axis, its color (ACI number: 256 ByLayer, 0 ByBlock) and its linetype. Add element and − add and remove lines (at least one remains).
- Caps: at the start and at the end, a closing line, an arc joining the outer elements or arcs between the inner ones, and the angle of the caps.
- Fill with its color and Display joints at the vertices.
Notes
- Load... loads the styles of an AutoCAD .mln file (those not already in the drawing) and Save... saves the chosen style to a .mln that AutoCAD can load.
- The color of the elements is chosen by its number.
