MLEADER — Multileader
Creates a multileader: arrowhead, landing and text or block content.
- Command:
MLEADER· Global name:_MLEADER· Alias:MLD - Ribbon: Home › Annotation
- Ribbon: Annotate › Leaders
- Menu: Dimension
Creates a multileader: an arrow pointing at a point, a landing and some content (multiline text, a block or nothing). Its look is set by the current multileader style.
Usage
- Enter MLEADER (or MLD) or click Multileader on the ribbon.
- Specify the arrowhead location, or choose what to specify first.
Specify leader arrowhead location or [leader Landing first/Content first/Options] <Options>:
- Specify the next point. When the maximum number of points is reached (2 by default: the arrowhead and the landing), that point is the landing; with more points, Enter ends the leader at the last one.
Specify leader landing location:
- If the content is text, the MTEXT editor opens: type the text and click OK.
Options
- leader Landing first (L): specify the landing first and then the arrowhead.
- Content first (C): draw the text box first (two corners), type the text and specify the arrowhead last.
- leader arrowHead first (H): starts again with the arrowhead.
- Options (O, or Enter):
Enter an option [Leader type/leader lAnding/Content type/Maxpoints/First angle/Second angle/LAyer/eXit options] <eXit options>:
- Content type (C): Block, Mtext or None. With a block, type its name.
- Leader type (L): Straight, sPline or None (no line).
- leader lAnding (A): with or without landing.
- First angle (F) and Second angle (S): the first leader segment (from the arrowhead) and the second one go to multiples of that angle (0, no constraint).
- LAyer (LA): the layer of new multileaders (. the current one).
- Maxpoints (M): maximum number of leader points, from 2 to 100.
- eXit options (X): goes back to the first prompt.
Notes
- The chosen order (arrowhead, landing or content first) is remembered for the next MLEADER, as in AutoCAD.
- The arrowhead, landing, text style and text height are changed in MLEADERSTYLE.
- Grips move the arrowhead, the vertices, or the content together with the landing.
- If the style is annotative (those that come in AutoCAD drawings), the multileader is created annotative at the current annotation scale (CANNOSCALE). When the scale changes its content is scaled, but the leader is not rebuilt.
