- Command:
MLEADERSTYLE· Global name:_MLEADERSTYLE· Alias:MLS - Ribbon: Annotate › Leaders
- Menu: Format
Manages multileader styles: creates and modifies styles and sets the current one. When a style is modified, the multileaders that use it are updated.
Usage
- Enter MLEADERSTYLE (or MLS) or click Multileader Style on the ribbon. The Multileader Style Manager opens.
- Choose a style in the Styles: list.
- Set Current makes it current; to create one, type the name in the field and click New (a copy of the selected style); Modify... shows its values.
- Change the values, click OK and, when done, Close.
Modifying the style
- Arrowhead symbol: one of the 20 AutoCAD arrowheads (closed filled, closed blank, dot, architectural tick, oblique, open, origin, integral, none…); Arrowhead size.
- Automatically include landing, Set landing distance (length of the landing) and Landing gap (gap between the landing and the text).
- Multileader type: Mtext, Block (choose the Source block) or None.
- Text style and Text height.
- Left attachment and Right attachment: where the landing meets the text when the leader comes from the left or from the right (Top of top line, Middle of multi-line text, Underline all text…).
Command line
While the dialog box is open you can type:
Multileader Style Manager (or ?, Current name, New name, Text height value):
- ?: lists the styles.
- Current name (C): makes the style current.
- New name (N): creates a copy of the current style and makes it current.
- Text height value (T): changes the text height of the current style.
Notes
- The current style is stored in CMLEADERSTYLE. The arrowheads are the AutoCAD arrow blocks (_Dot, _Open…), created in the drawing when chosen.
- The Annotative property of the style is not changed here; annotative styles from AutoCAD drawings are honored and their multileaders are created annotative.
