Adjusts the spacing between parallel linear dimensions.
- Command:
DIMSPACE· Global name:_DIMSPACE· Alias:DSP - Ribbon: Annotate › Dimensions
Makes the spacing between parallel linear dimensions equal: it places them at the same distance from one another starting from a base dimension, or aligns them all on the same line.
Usage
- Enter DIMSPACE (or DSP).
- Select the base dimension, the one that does not move.
Select base dimension:
- Select the dimensions to space and press Enter.

Enter value or [Auto] <Auto>:
Options
- Auto (A): the spacing is twice the text height of the base dimension's style.
- A number: the distance between consecutive dimension lines. With 0 the dimensions are aligned with the base.
Notes
- Only linear and aligned dimensions parallel to the base are moved; the others are discarded.
- They are sorted by their distance to the base and placed, in that order, towards the side of the base's dimension line.
- The text of the moved dimensions returns to its default position.
