LinceCAD DIMDISASSOCIATE — Disassociate Dimensions
Removes associativity from the selected dimensions.
- Command:
DIMDISASSOCIATE· Global name:_DIMDISASSOCIATE· Alias:DDA - Ribbon: Annotate › Dimensions
Removes associativity from the selected dimensions: they stop following the geometry they measure and stay where they are.
Usage
- Enter DIMDISASSOCIATE (or DDA).
- Select the dimensions and press Enter. Anything that is not a dimension is discarded.
Select dimensions to disassociate:
- The number of disassociated dimensions is reported.
Notes
- An associative dimension is also disassociated when it is moved without its geometry or when the object it is associated with is erased.
- To associate it again, use DIMREASSOCIATE.
- When DIMASSOC is not 2, new dimensions are not associated.
