LinceCAD CLOSE — Close
Closes the current drawing.
- Command:
CLOSE· Global name:_CLOSE - Menu: LinceCAD
- Menu: File
Closes the current drawing and moves to the drawing in the next tab. If it is the only one open, an empty drawing takes its place.
Usage
- Enter CLOSE, click the × on its tab or choose Close in the tab's shortcut menu.
- If the drawing has unsaved changes (its tab shows
*), the program asks:
Save changes to …?
- Answer Yes to save and close, No to close without saving or Cancel to keep working.
Notes
- With Yes, an unnamed drawing opens the SAVEAS dialog box; if that is cancelled, the drawing does not close.
- Closing deletes its automatic save.
- The shortcut menu of a tab also has Close All Other Drawings, which closes all but that one.
