CENTERMARK — Center Mark

Adds an associative center mark to circles and arcs.

Adds center marks to circles and arcs, as in AutoCAD 2027: a cross at the center and extension lines that go beyond the circle. The mark is associative: if the circle or arc changes, the mark is rebuilt.

Usage

1. Enter CENTERMARK (alias CM) or click the button.
2. Select the circles and arcs one by one and press Enter to finish.

• Layer: layer of the new marks (., the current one); it is the CENTERLAYER variable.

Enter layer name or select an object to specify the layer for center marks or . to use current [?/Exit] <"…">:

Notes

• It is saved as AutoCAD does: a reference to an anonymous block with the cross and the extensions, with the CENTERLTYPE linetype (CENTER2 if empty) and its scale CENTERLTSCALE.
• Shape: CENTERCROSSSIZE (cross), CENTERCROSSGAP (gap), CENTEREXE (overshoot) and CENTERMARKEXE (with or without extensions).
• If another object is selected:

The selected object is not an arc or a circle.
