TABLEEXPORT — Export Table

Saves the cells of a table to a CSV file.

• Command: TABLEEXPORT · Global name: _TABLEEXPORT · Alias: EXPORTTABLE
• Ribbon: Annotate › Tables

Saves the contents of a table to a CSV file, to open it in a spreadsheet. Formulas are exported with their value.

Usage

1. Enter TABLEEXPORT (or EXPORTTABLE) or click Export Table on the ribbon. If cells or a table are selected, that table is exported.
2. Select the table.

3. Type the path of the file. If it has no extension, .csv is added.

Notes

• The file is UTF-8, with the columns separated by commas; values containing commas, semicolons or quotes are quoted.
• When finished, the number of rows written is reported.
• To create a table from a CSV file, use TABLE.
