STATUS — Status

Displays the drawing status: limits, extents and current settings.

• Command: STATUS · Global name: _STATUS

Displays the drawing status in the text window (F2): how many objects it has, its limits, the area used by the model, the insertion base, the snap and grid spacing, the current layer, color and linetype, the elevation, the status bar modes and the running object snaps.

Usage

1. Enter STATUS. The report is shown on the command line and in the text window.

Notes

• "Model space uses" is the extent of the objects in model space; with none, it says Nothing.
• Unlike AutoCAD, free disk space and memory are not shown.
