RAY — Ray

Creates lines that start at a point and continue to infinity.

Draws rays: half-lines that start at a point and go on endlessly in one direction. Like construction lines, they are construction guides, for when only one side matters.

Usage

1. Enter RAY or click the button.
2. Specify the start point.

3. Specify a point the ray passes through. Each point creates another ray from the same start.

Specify through point:

4. Press Enter, Space or Esc to finish.

Notes

• RAY objects are created, as in AutoCAD. They do not count for zoom extents.
• With ortho (F8) or polar tracking (F10) it is easy to draw horizontal, vertical or fixed-angle rays.
