PUBLISH — Publish
Batch-plots a sheet list to PDF.
- Command:
PUBLISH· Global name:_PUBLISH - Ribbon: Output › Plot
Plots several sheets to PDF in one go: model space and the layouts of the open drawing and of other drawings, each sheet with its own page setup. The result is a single multi-sheet PDF or one PDF per sheet.
Usage
- Save the drawing and enter PUBLISH. The Publish dialog opens with the Sheet List: model space and the layouts of the current drawing.
- Check the sheets you want to plot; ✖ removes a sheet from the list.
- Use Add Drawings… to add model space and the layouts of other DWG or DXF files.
- Choose Single multi-sheet PDF or One PDF per sheet and, if you wish, Include layer information and PDF/A.
- Click Publish and specify the PDF file (or the folder, with one PDF per sheet). Plotting runs in the background with a progress bar; you can keep drawing meanwhile.
Sheet list
- Save Sheet List… saves the list in a LinceCAD
.dslfile, with drawing paths relative to the list; Load Sheet List… loads it again to repeat the same publication. - Each sheet is plotted with the page setup stored in its layout (PAGESETUP): paper, plot area, scale and plot style table.
Notes
- The drawing must be saved before publishing.
- Sheets of other drawings are plotted without their external references.
- AutoCAD
.dslfiles are not read: the list is LinceCAD's own.
