PREVIEW — Preview

Shows the page as it will be plotted.

• Command: PREVIEW · Global name: _PREVIEW · Alias: PRE
• Ribbon: Output › Plot
• Menu: File

Shows the sheet full screen exactly as it will be plotted: the paper, the printable area and what is plotted, with the settings of the Plot dialog box (scale, area, orientation and plot style table included).

Usage

1. Enter PREVIEW or click its button. It also opens from the PLOT dialog box with Preview….
2. Inspect the sheet: Wheel: zoom · Drag: pan.
3. Click Plot to plot to a file, Fit to see the whole sheet again or Close to leave.

Notes

• The preview is an image of the page: with a plot style table such as monochrome.ctb it already shows in black.
• To change the paper, scale or area, close the preview and change them in PLOT or PAGESETUP.
