POINT — Point

Creates point objects.

Places point objects. Each click creates a point; points are used as marks and as targets for the Node object snap.

Usage

1. Enter POINT (or PO) or click Point.
2. Specify a point with a click or by typing its coordinates. The prompt repeats so you can place more points.

Notes

• The symbol used to draw all points and its size are chosen with PTYPE (variables PDMODE and PDSIZE). With the default style a point is a single pixel, hard to see.
• To place points along an object, use DIVIDE or MEASURE.
• Points are created on the current layer, with the current color and linetype.
