- Command:
LAYISO· Global name:_LAYISO - Ribbon: Home › Layers

- Enter LAYISO or click Isolate on the ribbon.
Select objects on the layer(s) to be isolated or [Settings]:
- Select one or more objects and press Enter. Their layers stay on and all others are turned off.
Options
- Settings (S): what happens to the other layers: turned off (and, inside a viewport, frozen in it only) or locked and faded.
Enter setting for layers not isolated [Off/Lock and fade] <Off>: Enter fade value (0-90) <…>:
Notes
- If objects are selected before the command starts, their layers are isolated without asking.
- If the current layer is not one of the isolated layers, the first of them becomes current.
- Layers are turned off, not frozen or locked. If you isolate several times in a row, LAYUNISO returns to the setup before the first isolation.
- To isolate individual objects instead of whole layers, use ISOLATEOBJECTS.
