COPYTOLAYER — Copy to Layer

Copies the selected objects to another layer.

Copies the selected objects to another layer: the copies go on the destination layer and the originals stay as they were. The copies can be left in place or moved.

Usage

1. Enter COPYTOLAYER.

Select objects to copy:

2. Select the objects and press Enter.

Select object on destination layer or [Name] <Name>:

3. Select an object on the destination layer, or press Enter and type the layer name.

… object(s) copied and placed on layer "…".

4. Specify the base point and the second point to move the copies, or press Enter to leave them in place.

Specify base point or [Displacement/eXit] <eXit>:

Options

• Name (N): type the name of the destination layer.
• Displacement (D): type the displacement of the copies instead of two points.

Specify displacement <0.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000>:

• eXit: leaves the copies on top of the originals.
