- Command:
APPLOAD· Global name:_APPLOAD· Alias:AP - Ribbon: Manage › Applications
Loads AutoLISP routines (.lsp) and manages the ones loaded at startup and the load security. Once loaded, a routine that defines C:NAME is used by entering NAME on the command line.
Usage
- Enter APPLOAD (or AP) or click its button. The Load Applications (APPLOAD) dialog box opens.
- Click Load a .lsp file… and choose the file. It is loaded at once.
- Close the dialog box. Changes to the lists and to the security are saved immediately.
The dialog box
- Startup suite (loaded at startup):: files loaded every time LinceCAD starts. Add them with Add to the startup suite… and remove them with ✖.
- Load security (SECURELOAD):: Load from any folder without asking, Ask outside the trusted folders or Load only from the trusted folders. It is equivalent to AutoCAD's SECURELOAD variable.
- Trusted folders (the first one is the user folder):: the folders from which files are loaded without asking. Add them with Add trusted folder….
Notes
- Outside the trusted folders, and with the intermediate security, the program asks for permission before loading: a
.lspfile can run commands on the drawing. - On the command line, anything that starts with
(is evaluated as AutoLISP:(load "routine.lsp")also loads. - Only plain-text
.lspfiles are loaded;.fas,.vlx,.arxand.dllfiles are not.
