3DPOLY — 3D polyline

Draws a polyline with 3D points.

• Command: 3DPOLY · Global name: _3DPOLY · Alias: 3P

Draws a polyline whose vertices have 3D coordinates. It is a different object from the lightweight polyline of PLINE.

Usage

1. Enter 3DPOLY (or 3P).
2. Specify the start point and the next ones, as x,y,z (a missing Z is the current elevation).

Specify endpoint of line or [Close/Undo]:

3. Press Enter to finish.

Options

• Close (C): joins the last point to the first (three are needed).
• Undo (U): removes the last point.

Notes

• It has no arcs or width. To draw on the plane use PLINE.
