(wcmatch string pattern)

T if the string matches the pattern. Wildcards: * (any text), ? (one character), # (one digit), @ (one letter), . (one non-alphanumeric character), [abc] and [a-z] (one of them), [~abc] (none of them), ~ at the start negates the pattern, , separates several patterns and the reverse quote makes the next character literal. It is case-sensitive.
