getvar

(getvar name)

Value of a system variable, or nil if it is unknown. It reads those of the drawing (CLAYER, LUNITS, TEXTSIZE, DIMZIN…; ANGBASE in radians) and those of the program: OSMODE, ORTHOMODE, SNAPMODE, CMDACTIVE, CMDECHO, DWGNAME, DWGPREFIX, SECURELOAD, ACADVER, PRODUCT and PLATFORM.

Notes

Variables such as PICKBOX, FILEDIA, CMDDIA, ATTREQ or EXPERT exist with their usual value so that routines do not fail, but they change nothing. See System variables.
