entmake

(entmake list)

Creates an entity from the list of DXF pairs: LINE, CIRCLE, ARC, POINT, LWPOLYLINE, TEXT, MTEXT or INSERT (of an existing block), or a layer with (0 . "LAYER"). Without code 8 it goes on the current layer; texts without a height take TEXTSIZE. Returns the list, or nil if it cannot.

Differences with AutoCAD

INSERTs are created without attributes (there are no ATTRIB/SEQEND sequences) and blocks are not created.
