ALIASEDIT — Edit Aliases
Edits the command aliases (lince.pgp file, with the acad.pgp syntax).
- Command:
ALIASEDIT· Global name:_ALIASEDIT - Ribbon: Manage › Customization
Edits the user command aliases: your own abbreviations, typed on the command line instead of the full name. They are saved in lince.pgp, with the same syntax as AutoCAD's acad.pgp, and an AutoCAD one can be imported as it is.
Usage
- Enter ALIASEDIT or click the button. Customize opens on the Aliases tab, with the file path at the top.
- To add one, type the alias and the command (its English or Spanish name; the suggestions complete it) and click Add. If the alias already existed, it now points to the new command.
- To remove one, click ✕ on its row.
- Import acad.pgp… adds the aliases of a
.pgpfile; existing ones with the same name are replaced.
Changes apply at once, without restarting the program.
The lince.pgp file
One line per alias, ALIAS, *COMMAND; whatever follows ; is a comment:
; my aliases LL, *LINE CC, *CIRCLE
The external command lines of acad.pgp (those without *) are ignored. If an alias is repeated, the last one wins.
Notes
- A user alias wins over a built-in alias with the same letters, but never over a command name:
LINEis still LINE even if there is aLINEalias. - With
_or.in front (_LL) the user aliases are not looked up: the command is searched by its global name. - Built-in aliases, at the bottom of the tab, lists the aliases that come with the program.
- The file is in the configuration folder (
%APPDATA%\lince; on Linux,~/.config/lince) and is read when the program starts.
